You got to go on your first road trip to California this weekend! We went to visit Aaron, Jill, Megan and AJ and then I had to work one day in Los Angeles.
Unfortunately the car ride wasn't all that fun for you or me. We made a few stops along the way so you could get out of the car and stretch your little legs. The first rest stop you had a guacamole snack, which is so funny to us. You love it!! Of course, then you have garlic breath.
After about 4 hours you had enough of the car. You desperately wanted out of your car seat. you were so uncomfortable and sleepy. Poor little guy.
Finally we got to the hotel and your happiness was renewed!! You were so excite to explore the new space of the hotel room and you slept like a champ that night.
We went all over the LA area and you were perfectly content driving around now because Megan and AJ were both in the back seat to keep you entertained. We went to the Natural History Museum, a famous hot dog place called Pink's, and all sorts of other places and you were pretty happy the whole time. You like to get out of the house and see what's outside.
After visiting with the Kayser's, I had to go to work at one of my hotels. Lucky for you we got upgrade to a suite so there was a lot more room for you to crawl around. While I went to work you and dad went to the Grammy Museum. Lot's of museum time for you this trip little one.
